i just came home from school. Janine, Odes and I attended room 9’s outreach. We were just supposed to observe bur then, we were the ones who taught. Haha. It’s ok. It always feels nice to be of service to your neighbor. Really now? Haha. It’s true.

the outreach made us realize a lot of things. Janine, Odes and I saw this kid with only one leg. But he was one of the happiest kids we saw there. That goes to show that we shouldn’t let what we have or what we don’t have be a hindrance to our happiness. Instead of feeling sad the rest of your life thinking of things that just cant be [you know what I mean], why not accept the fact that we cant get everything we want, and move on? If we dwell too much on hurtful and upsetting things, we wont be able to see and recognize things [and people] that would make us happy that are already right in front of us. I realized how fortunate and blessed I am, because though I don’t have everything, I still am happy because the simplest [things give me a reason to smile. I also realized that the people and things we ignore are the ones who/which make life worth living.

[Whoah. Where did that ^ come from? Haha. :D]
